Coleus

Coleus is a popular tender perennial grown extensively for its remarkably vibrant and multicolored foliage. Belonging to the mint family Lamiaceae, these plants display a stunning array of leaf colors ranging from lime green and deep magenta to rich purples, yellows, and reds, often featuring intricate patterns, ruffled edges, and contrasting borders. Traditionally treated as annuals in temperate climates, coleus plants thrive in warm, frost-free environments and are exceptional choices for brightening up shady garden beds, patio containers, and indoor spaces. They are remarkably versatile, adapting well to both garden soils and potted environments, making them a perennial favorite among gardeners seeking instant, high-impact tropical color.
