Clove Tree

The clove tree is a species of tree in the family Myrtaceae, native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. It is an evergreen tree that grows up to 10 to 20 meters tall, possessing large leaves and sanguine flowers in numerous terminal clusters. The flower buds initially have a pale hue, gradually develop a green color, and then transition to a bright red when they are ready for harvesting. Cloves are widely known and valued globally as a spice, heavily utilized in culinary applications, traditional medicine, and the extraction of essential oils due to their distinct warm, sweet, and aromatic properties.
