Scented Geranium

Scented geraniums belong to the genus Pelargonium and are beloved worldwide for their wonderfully aromatic foliage, which can release scents ranging from rose, lemon, and mint to pine, apple, and various spices when brushed or crushed. Native primarily to South Africa, these versatile, resilient plants thrive in warm climates and well-draining soils. They produce lovely clusters of small, delicate flowers, but they are cultivated predominantly for their sensory appeal and essential oils. As both ornamental and functional plants, they can be grown indoors on sunny windowsills or outdoors in gardens, patios, and containers, providing natural fragrance and decorative beauty.
