Lipstick Plant

The Lipstick Plant, scientifically known as Aeschynanthus radicans, is a stunning trailing epiphyte native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia, particularly the Malay Peninsula and Java. It is widely celebrated and cultivated as a popular indoor hanging basket houseplant due to its unique, vibrant red tubular flowers that emerge from dark maroon calyces, perfectly resembling tubes of lipstick. The plant features lush, glossy, dark green succulent-like leaves that cascade gracefully, making it an exceptional decorative addition to bright indoor spaces, living rooms, and sunrooms where its trailing stems can be fully appreciated and admired by plant enthusiasts everywhere.
