Wax Begonia

The Wax Begonia, scientifically known as Begonia semperflorens-cultorum, is a popular and versatile ornamental plant cherished for its glossy, succulent foliage and continuous clusters of delicate flowers in shades of pink, red, white, and bicolors. Typically grown as an annual in temperate climates, it thrives in garden beds, borders, hanging baskets, and indoor containers. Its compact, mounding growth habit and resilience against varying weather conditions make it a favorite among landscapers and home gardeners alike. Wax begonias require well-draining soil, moderate watering, and bright indirect light to full sun depending on the climate to maintain their vibrant appearance throughout the growing season.
