Gazania
Gazania is a popular genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to Southern Africa. Known for their brilliantly colored, daisy-like composite flower heads, they are exceptionally well-suited for hot, dry gardens and coastal conditions. The flowers typically open in bright sunshine and close on cloudy days or at night. They form low-growing rosettes of foliage, which can be silvery-green or dark green, making them excellent ground covers or rockery plants. They are cherished by gardeners for their ability to thrive in poor soils and withstand intense heat and drought once established.
