Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a tall, tropical, clump-forming perennial grass prized worldwide for its distinctively fragrant, citrus-like aroma and flavor. Belonging to the Poaceae family, it typically grows in dense clusters of aromatic, blue-green leaf blades that taper at the tips. Widely utilized in Southeast Asian cuisine, herbal teas, and traditional medicine, lemongrass is also a popular source of essential oils used in aromatherapy and natural insect repellents.
