Conebushes

Conebushes belong to the genus Leucadendron, comprising about 80 species of evergreen shrubs and small trees native to South Africa, specifically the Cape Floristic Region. They are well known for their vibrant, colorful bracts that surround the actual small flowers, often resembling cones. These striking plants are popular in ornamental horticulture and commercial floristry due to their unique textures and long-lasting cut stems.
